Position Overview

Are you passionate about writing and eager to gain hands-on experience in the world of digital marketing? fare·well is looking for a creative and detail-oriented copywriting intern to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a student to build real-world skills while working with a local company that empowers community-focused organizations through innovative digital solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Write SEO-focused landing page content and blog posts that engage and inform our client’s target audience
• Write SEO meta titles and meta descriptions for a variety of clients, markets and audiences
• Conducts SEO research, including keyword research, to help optimize content for search engines
• Utilize AI tools to aid in both research and copywriting, streamlining the copywriting process
• Perform content audits on existing websites to identify areas for improvement
• Copyedit and refine existing content to align with SEO best practices and brand voice

Your Skills

• Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, grammar, and style
• Ability to conduct research and apply findings to content creation
• Familiarity with using digital tools to assist in writing and research
• Attention to detail, particularly in editing and proofreading
• Proficiency in organizing and presenting ideas clearly and concisely
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and consistently meet deadlines

What you will learn

• Content Creation: Develop skills in writing compelling, clear, and engaging content for websites and blogs tailored to specific audiences.
• Research Techniques: Learn how to conduct effective research to inform content creation, including identifying relevant topics, trends, and keywords.
• Content Auditing: Learn how to evaluate and improve existing website content for clarity, consistency, and web accessibility.
• Real-World Project Experience: Work on live projects that directly impact our clients, giving you practical experience in a professional setting.
• Agency Team Experience: Learn how an agency team functions and get guided support from mentors excited to teach!
