A site that sells Redmond, not just REDI

About

REDI is a private nonprofit, founded in 1987, that grows jobs and investment in Redmond, Oregon. Business and the public sector started it together. The site has to show what Redmond offers, make incentives and resources easy to find, and let the team respond when a company gets in touch.

About

REDI needed a site that makes the case for Redmond, and a clear way for a business to ask for help. We rebuilt it in Webflow.

The live site

The problem

Paper forms, PDFs, and extra pages stood between a business and REDI.

Useful content was hard to reach. The team needed to update the site when a new opportunity came up, without waiting on outside help.

The approach
  1. Strategy

Lead with Redmond: the landscape, the industries, and the businesses already there. Put incentives and resources where a visitor can find them, and combine pages that were making people hunt. Each path ends with a way to contact REDI.

  2. Design

Photography of Redmond carries the pages, beside the range of businesses the city can support. Stories cover REDI's work and the companies it has helped.

  3. Webflow / CMS

The site moved to Webflow. Paper forms and old PDFs became forms on the site, including contact and inquiry forms. Content people could not reach before is now published. Nine industry pages lay out where a business can land. Blogs, events, sponsors, and business stories sit in the CMS, and we trained the REDI team to update them.

The result

A business can find Redmond's incentives and reach REDI from the site.

Pages are written for searches such as business incentives and Redmond economic development. The build follows WCAG 2.1. The team updates blogs, events, sponsors, and stories in Webflow.
